They published a quarterly, ‘The Mirror’ produced a documentary video titled Dry Bones, Christianity In Transition and organized discussions in and with the Anglican Church in Toronto. Her friend and colleague, Rosamond Bailey, joined Thayer in future projects, as did a number of others. Thayer chose to leave school just before finishing, concluding her studies with a thesis titled, “When He comes, will He have a diploma?” The tension between individual conscience and the consensus of the group was a theme that underpinned Thayer’s work for the rest of her life.
